Each summer players from across the region take to the fields of Glengarry to compete in one of the oldest continually running leagues in Canada.
The GSL typically runs the following minor divisions:
- U4 Coed Parents & Tots
- U6 Coed
- U8 Boys/Girls
- U10 Boys/Girls
- U12 Boys/Girls
- U15 Boys/Girls
- U18 Boys/Girls
*Divisions are subject to change based on registration numbers
The GSL runs the following senior/tier 2 divisions:
- Div2 men/women – players sign up for an area and this is how a team is formed
- Senior men/women – senior teams are run by a team managers
- Tier 2 women – women over the age of 30
- Tier 2 men – currently inactive
Registration begins in March each year and the season typically starts the long weekend in May. The following areas enter teams into the GSL:
- Alexandria
- Dunvegan
- Glen Sandfield
- Laggan
- Maxville
- North Lancaster
- South Glengarry (Charlan)
- Vankleek Hill
